TORONTO, September 19, 2000 - Kanetix®, Canada's Insurance Marketplace, today added new comparison features to its Web site, making it the first resource in Canada where visitors can compare automobile insurance companies on more factors than just the price of the policy.

The new comparison chart in the Kanetix auto Quotemaker ranks insurance companies in order of the best price, but also lists each company's rating for financial strength and stability, and it's claims rating, indicating customer satisfaction levels.

The chart also includes each company's distribution methods, claims service hours, business hours and accepted payment types.

Ellis explains price is usually first on people's lists of things to compare, but if the rates between companies differ only slightly, people need more information about the company before making a decision.
