What do the new alcohol rules mean for my insurance in Ontario?

In Ontario now, if I am caught with a blood alcohol limit between 0.05 and 0.08, will the fact it was once a 12 hour licence suspension but is now 3 days have an effect on my insurance? Or is it basically the same?

Most licence suspensions will have some sort of impact on your insurance. But the impact of a 12-hour versus a 3 day temporary suspension is for all intents and purposes, the same when it comes to your insurance. The major impact will be if you are convicted of the charge and suspended for one year.
