My question is, do I need extra insurance coverage if I have a motorhome and I am towing a car behind it on a tow dolly??

Assuming that you do not currently have coverage on at least one of the three items then the answer would be yes, you do need coverage for all three items -the motorhome, the car, and the tow dolly.
