You bet! We heard the list here too and it generated a lot of discussion in the office.
The list was compiled by Toronto Police Traffic Services Sgt. Tim Burrows and is also listed on his blog
http://trafficservicestps.blogspot.com/.
The top 10 pet peeves were:
1.No signals
2.Lane cue cutters/Drivers who use lanes that end to cut into the front of the line
3.Tailgating
4.Unsafe lane changes
5.Left lane bandits
6.Cyclists who disobey the HTA (Highway Traffic Act)
7.Distracted drivers
8.Late left turn signals
9.Slower moving vehicles that change into your lane while you are travelling faster
10.Slow drivers
Also, the officer had his own personal set of pet peeves. They were:
1.Drunk drivers
2.Speeders and or aggressive drivers
3.Drivers that don¿t move over or slow down for emergency vehicles
4.Distracted drivers, and
5.Amber or red light runners.
Does anyone have a pet peeve that isn¿t listed here? Feel free to add it to the list!
