| Is there a limit to how many cigarettes I am allowed to bring with me into Canada after my vacation?
Posted by Guest on 2009/06/21 17:30:49 I found the following information on the Canadian Border Services Agency website: As long as you are 18 years of age or older, you can bring in all the following amounts of tobacco into Canada, free of duty and taxes: - 200 cigarettes;
- 50 cigars or cigarillos;
- 200 grams (7 ounces) of manufactured tobacco;
- and 200 tobacco sticks.
You are allowed to bring in more tobacco than the listed amounts, but you'll be charged full duty and taxes on the additional amounts. For more information, or to see if this has changed since this was posted, check out the CBSA site: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/pub/bsf5056-eng.html Posted by admin on 2009/06/22 17:35:06 |
