I'd like to know if living in the city will raise my car insurance? I plan to move to Toronto from Port Credit (the suburbs) for work. I will be driving less as a result. I'm hoping my insurance will be cheaper. Any input would be appreciated.

It might, but the only way to know for sure is to get quotes based on your new address.
Also, you might want to check out the following article on the Kanetix.ca site. It might give you more of an idea of what might happen to your insurance rates when you move: "Moving? Where you live affects how much you pay in insurance".
For more information about how rates are calculated you can also visit the following sites:
Good luck with your move!
