What's a group discount? How do I find out if I'm eligible for one? Does it apply to car insurance? Home insurance? Both? Thanks!

Certain insurance companies may provide a group rate to drivers who are members of an employer group, trade union or professional association that have a relationship with them. Often your "group" will notify you of these benefits and who the insurer is. These types of discounts often apply to both home and auto insurance.
