I've been with the same insurance company several years now..each year that goes by my insurance increases $300.00. I started out paying just over $1100.00 a year.. now I'm at a whopping $1900.00+ .. No accidents...no tickets.. I kind of wonder to myself what would it cost me if I were to get a ticket or get into an accident..I'm retired, if insurance premiums go up each year I won't be able to afford to drive .. where's the justification for people like myself who have an excellent driving record for over 40 years? I would think that insurance rates should go down, not up, or at least stay the same.. haven't any of these insurance companies ever heard of "Vanishing Deductibles"? Im sure they have and use it mostly for themselves, and we are paying for it.
