I just purchased a property that I will be renting out and I currently live at home with parents. Most companies that i've called said that they won't insure me unless my Primary residence insurance is with them. Anyone know of companies that will provide me with insurance. So far "Powell" is the only company that will do this.

For the most part, most insurance companies will not insurance a stand-alone rental property unless your primary residence is insured with them. Nevertheless, some brokerages like Powell, Drivers First or Cowan have special programs in place to insurance rental properties. As this is a really niche market - you will not find a lot of companies offering this kind of coverage.
