Vancouver Claim

Hi,

I am moving from Vancouver to Toronto.

I have had 1 accident last year but I paid off the amount and the accident does NOT show up on my driving record / letter of claim experience. (these are the only two documents that ICBC shares with the public) Would broker in Ontario somehow find out about that accident and consider me as a high risk driver?

Thanks.

Hi,

You are required to disclose all accidents and claims you've been involved in regardless of whether they appear on your record or not. An insurance contract is based on utmost good faith. If your driving record is not fully disclosed at the time of purchasing an insurance policy, you may not be covered in the event of a claim.
