I am thinking about coming over to the States for a few months early next year and was wondering if I would need to get car insurance if I decide to rent a car to travel.

I checked out a few sites for information but cant see any info relating to this?

If you are renting a vehicle while in the U.S. the insurance will be included in the package sold by the rental car agency. All of the major rental agencies include this kind of insurance in their rental packages.
