I turned 25 years old. I heard that when a male turns 25, the car insurance goes down. Is it true? I have a good driving record, I'm supposingly a 5 star or 6 star driver. I don't remember what's the highest rating.

This is true for both males and females actually but it often has a larger impact on males. As a male, once you turn 19, 21, 23 and 25 your rates drop each time. Once you reach 25 you are no longer rated as an 'under 25' rated driver according to your age, you will now be rated according to your vehicle usage. Ie. Commute to work, pleasure use, commercial use, etc. Another little known fact is that if you get married before the age of 25 your rates also drop!
