I am James Martin currently residing in Melbourne and planning to move to Ontario, I would like to know about the status and usability of Professional Indemnity insurance there in Ontario Canada.

If you are moving from Australia to Ontario and currently have a Professional Liability or Errors and Omissions policy you will want to check the territorial restrictions under the exclusion section of your policy wordings. Most Professional Liability policies will exclude coverage outside of your home country although some will have worldwide coverage.
