Position Description

The role of the Account Manager is client-facing, working with the Technical Development and Business Analyst teams to manage a series of accounts in the development and ongoing maintenance of Kanetix-designed web-based solutions. As a key member of our Development Service team, the successful candidate will work on all aspects of web deliveries, from the pricing of the project, the management of the delivery, to the follow-up analysis, ensuring client objectives and expectations were met.

Job qualifications:

  • Project Management skills are essential for this role.
  • Identify, qualify and assist in the development of services for new and existing clients.
  • Understand strategic direction of Development Services and align individual goals to this outcome.
  • Develop relationships with clients, decision makers and influencers for complex technology services.
  • Understand client needs and work with them to find solutions.
  • Provide Kanetix clients with excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Evaluating development requests and, in conjunction with technical development team, determine amount of effort required to complete the task.
  • Resolves technical issues, providing both internal and cross functional guidance and expertise.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Develop a strong knowledge of Industry solutions, as well as an understanding of the full range of Kanetix services.
  • Provide market awareness and promotion of Kanetix services within the industry.
  • Provide Kanetix development and Project Management teams with insights into client's needs and desires.
  • Understand client business needs and propose solutions for additional opportunities.
  • Experience in the Property / Casualty insurance industry a significant benefit.

Required Work Experiences:

  • 7 to 10 years experience with offering professional services and account management in a technical and/or e-commerce context.
  • Experience with identifying and creating solutions for clients.

Required Level of Education (include certifications):

  • Relevant University or College degree.

Soft Skills:

  • Consultative selling ability.
  • Ability to understand client's needs and offer creative solutions.
  • Ability to speak and write in French a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Selling skills.
  • Project Management an asset.
