Kanetix® Development Services is a division of Kanetix Ltd. that works with some of the largest insurance companies in Canada implementing e-commerce solutions leveraging Kanetix's 10 years of experience in delivering online insurance quotation services to Canadians.

Position Description

At Kanetix, you will build "cutting-edge", scalable websites and applications that will be used by millions of people! As a key member of our Development Service team, the successful candidate will work on all aspects of our online businesses: developing and implementing front-end website(s), building back-end rating engines, designing databases, and integrating our online systems with the computer systems of our clients.

Job qualifications:

• Completing a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, Oracle, Apache, Linux, SQL, XML
• Working knowledge within a UNIX or Linux platform
• Database experience using SQL
• Strong focus on delivering high quality code
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong, proven individual and team performer
• Ability to think about the "big picture" and deliver scalable solutions
