Position Description

At Kanetix, you will build “cutting-edge”, scalable websites and applications that will be used by millions of people! As a key member of our Website Development team, the successful candidate will work on all aspects of our online businesses: developing and implementing front-end website(s), building back-end rating engines, designing databases, and integrating our online systems with the computer systems of our partner companies.

• Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, Oracle, Apache, Linux, SQL, XML

• Ability to learn quickly, be adaptable
  • We don't expect you to know and understand everything but we are looking for people who want to learn and have the ability to ‘pick things up’ quickly
  • Our business is growing and expanding and we want our developers to lead the way
• A demonstrated interest in web technology and development
  • Experience with a personal web development project
  • Formal web development work experience with a previous employer
  • Understanding and experience with latest web development technologies and services such as: Ajax, Facebook Applications, Google APIs, Mobile Platform Development, ...
• Ability to think about the “big picture” and deliver scalable solutions
